1. The question of what to do with our Modifieds is no longer in question. We will begin the transition to IMCA. There will be changes to the body and rear tires immediately. Other items will change later in the year. Also the 604 crate engine will be legal to run immediately in accordance with IMCA rules. Other items that will be changing can be negotiated.
2. Super stock will continue to be sanctioned through the Wissota Promoter’s Association with changes as adopted at the 2013 Annual Meeting. Those changes will include reducing the weight 100 pounds and adding a 5″ spoiler. You may also remove the panel below the deck on the rear of the car.
3. As it stands today we will NOT be sanctioning our Mid West Modifieds. We will NOT allow the Tri-Y headers and we will allow the 602 crate engine to be run. We will allow after market crank and rods with the part numbers to be specified. We will also allow an open transmission with further specifics to be listed soon. Our rules will be something close to the USRA B-mods with some variations.
4. Street stock will NOT be sanctioned and we will allow the 602 crate engine to be run. There will be a weight adjustment, yet to be determined, as well as carburetor specified for that engine. We will also be looking at other adjustments for the crate engine package.
All rules and adjustments will be final by December 25th, 2013
